CIPTUG affiliated local chapters further the CIPTUG mission by offering Cisco Unified Communication customers local programs and events throughout the year. Meeting agendas, and presentation topics – based on members’ interests – are organized and managed by the local chapter leadership teams and include a wide range of educational programs, interactive forums, and collaborative activities where members:
exchange information, experiences and best practices
influence Cisco and IPT Partners' product enhancements and directions
enhance their product knowledge and technical expertise
network with local users, Cisco and Cisco Partners
CIPTUG support to local chapters includes chapter specific hosted websites and event/meeting planning and registration. Each chapter maintains a working relationship with "headquarters" through representation on the CIPTUG Affiliated Chapter Advisory Committee -- a forum providing chapter-to/from-headquarters dialogue and feedback.
